My go-to place for best khachapuri in frankfurt. Super friendly staff. Always enjoy being there. They also have nice georgian wines. Totally recommend
Super delicious food, the service was very friendly and competent. We would love to come back.
Good service - interesting Georgian wines and a nice mix of veg and meat dishes
At first I thought it was a mistake to come to this restaurant because it is a bit too dark and looks empty. But the food was very good, like in Georgia! I love hachapuri and eggplant, they were fresh and tasty. My friend ate a “borsch” soup, good too. The atmosphere may not have been perfect, but if you're looking for Georgian cuisine it's a nice place.
This is not a restaurant but a canteen. The menu is small, the choice is not great. The shish kebab is marinated horribly, in lemon and even fried on an electric grill. Burnt khachapuri. The only thing I liked so much is the eggplant. No juice, only sugary soda and water. Overpriced. I do not recommend it.
Delicious!
I’m so happy that I visited this place. As a Georgian, I can say that it was really delicious. Staff was super friendly. highly recommended.
Awesome restaurant with very friendly staff. Best Georgian restaurant in whole Germany. Dishes taste exactly same like in Georgia. 10/10. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to try real Georgian delicious dishes!
All too spicy. Small portions and not quite matching the images on the menu
This place is MUST GO, it is sooo tasty, we enjoyed every single thing we've ordered! Also atmosphere is nice in the restaurant and very friendly owner that also speaks Russian☺️?
Rats are running in the rum, food was burned, Food tasted bad was definitely a total letdown. Karoche magari zudi Restorini aris, magatan ar mikividet, dzaan zudi Pasebi da servici aqt zudi.
Amazing food and great hospitality. Love it every time.
The food in this restaurant is super good! The cooks are from Georgia and they prepare delicious authentic Georgian dishes. The staff is very friendly. The only reason I can think of why this place doesn't have higher ratings is because of location maybe. It is close to the rail train station. But if it's good food you are looking for, this is the place.
We were very well received, everyone was satisfied - food, service. Recommend!
Good Georgian food. Shish kebab and other delicious dishes.
Despite the delicious food, we didn't like some of it. First of all, we were refused the use of a valid voucher, on the grounds that a large number of customers had already used this voucher and therefore less sales were made. Basically not our problem, but ok we didn't want to start a big discussion. Then the meal continued. All dishes were brought in differently and when the last had their meal, the first were ready again. When paying, no card was accepted and the bill was not shared, there was a cheeky "just put it together". In addition, there was also a meal on the bill which was not ordered at all and we complained again. We would be very reluctant to visit the restaurant again, despite the still open voucher. In our opinion, prices are also extremely expensive. For bread filled with cheese and egg: just under € 12.
More of a bar than a restaurant. Food was quite good, unfortunately the dishes all came one after the other, so that only one person ever had food. Card payment not possible, which we only found out when we received your invoice. Waitress asks what the food tasted like when we thought it was too much coriander for us, she just said that was the way it was in Georgian food. Then don't ask the guest if you don't want to hear their opinion. We won't be back.
Best restaurant I have ever been to! The food was amazing, the service was amazing and the atmosphere was really nice! I would really recommend it! A 10/10 resturant!
Wow really good amazing wow best restaurant in whole of Frankfurt
The Best Georgian Restaurant in Frankfurt. The food was excellent, staff 101% friendly. Food Prices acceptable Give it a try. Satisfaction guaranteed If possible i would give 10 stars
Annoyed that they don’t take credit card, but that’s typical in Germany. Food was good for the most part. The eggplant and walnut, as well as beetroot and walnut, were good appetizers. The khachapuri was probably the best dish we ordered. We finished off with some very dry shashlik. It seemed the restaurant used A-1 steak sauce instead of something more traditionally Georgian. My only other issues with this place was the waiter smoking in the doorway (the smoke drifted into the small dining area) and downstairs had a terrible odor. If you need a fix for some khinkali or other Georgian favorites, this place should do the trick.
Service is bad but the food is even worse. Way overpriced compared with the quality. Waste of time and money
Great service, delicious food. If you want to try "something different" you should definitely try Old Tbilisi! Highly recommended! TOP! ???
Two stars: The service was underground: at the beginning two tables were occupied, the service does not know the own map and then brings the wrong food (for the wrong table). With the Georgian wine, the service is also not known. Atmosphere: After the reopening unfortunately worse than before: Very loud music from Ramazzotti to Celin Dion - no more traditional Georgian music, no live music anymore. One could hardly talk because of the volume. Although the Old Tbilisi used to be a bit of a snack, it had an authentic atmosphere that is now missing. The restaurant seems to speak after the reopening and a very different clientele. At some point, the chef's okay came to smoking and all the other guests immediately started smoking. In a restaurant!!!! Incomprehensible. Food: has become more expensive, now incomprehensible over 10 € for Chatchapuri. But the good taste saves my review on two stars. All in all: a pity. We used to like to go to Old Tbilisi.
Don’t waste your time or money!! The food was forgettable and over priced, the service was horrible, items on the menu unavailable, fruit flys everywhere, in your face in your wine in your food, a couple roaches crawling on the walls next to our table and they were all over the restrooms. Would never eat there again.
The Ambient was really good but you couldnt assosiate it with Georgia. The Meal were really delicious but the Borschtsch could be a bit more spicier. I think for standard soup the price with 6€ is too expensive, its only a russian stew! The Maindish which name i forget was very tasty and cheesey heavy like french rachlette. I payed for it 10€... The Staff were absolutly friendy and very carefully! Youtube Videos from the 80s were shown on an Lcd TV :D Why not... You can only pay cash and they only speak English and Russian...
Located near the main train station at a busy road, relatively small but still cozy inside. A few tables are available outside. The food is simple but delicious. BUT the service is horrible. The waiter was slow and unmotivated. Several items (from the already limited menu) were not available. We went for lunch with 5 colleagues and the waiter really didn't want to us to pay separately.
Delicious food. Wonderful service. The location is not so good.
Incredible place, food and service from Ewa !! My wife and I recommend it 100%
Always have a wonderful experience here! The Khinkali is to die for, as well as everything else! Always have amazing service, and yesterday had the absolute pleasure of being served by Ewa. I can't speak more highly of her. Great recommendations, service, always happy, will be going back anytime I get a khinkali craving!
Very expensive compare with the quality/quantity. Paid 34€ for a salad, water and Shuishlik.
Super
The food is really great and very authentic! Prices absolutely fair, the ambience fits. However, grilling takes place directly in the room, that shouldn't bother you. However, the tables could be wiped more often and the great food would be even better on nicer plates. I can absolutely recommend it and will be back.
Mega delicious. Immediately again, the more often the better.
Delicious food. Being from a neighboring country, I felt at home right away. The service is very friendly, they speak excellent English and are very attentive. Every dish we tried was lovely. I also highly recommend the Georgian wine. From the outside the decor didn't look that inviting but the inside is very cozy. Great for a date or a meal with a small group of friends.
Special Eastern European cuisine, the cheesecake is super delicious.
one of the delicious Georgian food in Frankfurt and In Germany as well. reasonable prices and friendly stuff. highly recommended.
Small menu but many favorites for anyone who misses their Georgian food fix.
Very lovely place with amazing food. Plenty of “locals” from Georgia eat here so the food must be really authentic. My girlfriend is from Tbilisi herself and she loves it! Edit: I saw another comment below where a supposed guest said there were cockroaches on the wall and in the food which is absolute non-sense and clearly fake. Any restaurant in Germany would be immediately shut down by the authorities if there would be insects in the food. Just a garbage shit post by that guy, don’t pay attention to that.
Very good food, very nice and attentive service ?
Yesterday on Valentine's Day at the Old Thiflis in Frankfurt. The restaurant is very close to the train station. Old Thilflis is a small sweet location with an open kitchen so that guests can watch the preparation. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was very warm. The boss played on the keyboard. Was very nice. I can only recommend it.
I went to take lunch to this place with some friends and it was a terrible experience. We were sitting in the table and some cockroaches were in the wall and the food. They don’t even care about it and try to charge us all the bill. Never go to this place !!!!!
Amazing food!
Service was unfortunately very unfriendly. Communication was not possible in German, only broken English was spoken. The premises are very tight, so that no cozy atmosphere can arise here. Prices are set too high. The food is solid.
Before 2018, I wasn't aware of how tasty Georgian cuisine is. Last year I had the opportunity to try Georgian food in Kiev and Sochi. And I happened upon the Old Tbilisi in my neighborhood. I give Old Tbilisi good 4 stars. There is a point deduction for the traditional soup, the borsch. I found the taste quite tense. For this I can 100% recommend the cheese bread. This costs 8.50 euros, is freshly made and tastes better than any pizza! A real culinary highlight! In the restaurant you feel like you are in Georgia. The restaurant is very clean, the conditions are very friendly, the whole package is very consistent. Highly Recommended! Card payment is possible here.
The atmosphere is good and cosy, the food is also good but the amount is little. The menu is very very limited than ordinary restaurants in Tbilisi. And at last everything is a little expensive.
The decoration was pretty and the food excellent , we never tasted georgian food and it was an awesome discovery ! The waiter was nice and devoted . Futhermore we appreciated the georgian music on the tv .We highly advice this restaurant ! We went there in August but we will never forget this experience !!
One star off for terrible choice of music. You cannot just let Youtube play whatever comes up on "Georgian music" search result. Otherwise - very friendly staff, good food, bit overpriced though.
So good to finally have a Georgia place nearby! We love it.
+ very friendly and competent service + Central location + Khachapuri "Adjaruli" taste fantastic + Red wine - very tight, no possibility to hang the coats - Invoice written by hand - many dishes cannot be ordered. Generally a positive impression, we would love to come back.
